Driver

Minimum age 21 with at least 2 years of driving experience. Drivers under 25 pay a young-driver fee.

Documents

Passport or national ID, driving licence (international driving permit for non-EU licences) and a bank card in the main driver’s name.

Booking and price

Booking requests are confirmed by email. The price shown includes VAT, basic and third-party insurance.

Deposit

Blocked on the main driver’s card and released after the car is returned without incident. The amount depends on the model and is shown in the booking.

Fuel

Full to full: you collect the car with a full tank and return it full. Missing fuel is charged per eighth of a tank.

Cancellation

Free of charge up to 24 hours before pick-up.

Pick-up and return

Alicante-Elche Airport, Departures Parking Express (Salidas), daily from 6:00 to 00:00. Returns more than 1 h late are charged an extra day.

Insurance and damage

Basic and third-party insurance is included. Damage not covered is charged up to the excess amount. Zero-excess full cover is available as an extra.

Travel, fines and use

Driving to Portugal or France requires prior written permission. Fines, tolls and penalties during the rental are paid by the renter. Subletting the car and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs are prohibited.

Full general conditions

The binding version of the contract is the Spanish one.

CONDICIONES GENERALES DE ALQUILER 1. El arrendatario debe tener al menos 21 años y 2 años de antigüedad del permiso de conducir. Los conductores menores de 25 años abonarán un suplemento. 2. El vehículo se entrega con el depósito lleno y debe devolverse lleno. El combustible que falte se cobrará a razón de la tarifa vigente por cada octavo de depósito. 3. La salida a Portugal o Francia requiere autorización previa por escrito. 4. El arrendatario responde de las multas, peajes y sanciones durante el periodo de alquiler. 5. Los daños no cubiertos por el seguro contratado se cargarán al arrendatario, hasta el importe de la franquicia indicada. 6. Queda prohibido subarrendar el vehículo, transportar mercancías peligrosas, participar en competiciones o conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol o drogas. 7. La devolución con más de 1 hora de retraso dará lugar al cobro de un día adicional. 8. La fianza se bloquea en la tarjeta del conductor principal y se libera tras la devolución sin incidencias. 9. En caso de accidente, el arrendatario debe avisar inmediatamente a ALC Cars y cumplimentar el parte amistoso. 10. Los datos personales se tratan conforme al RGPD para la gestión del contrato.
